My name is Paula Virta and I'm 21-year-old dog owner from Tampere, Finland. I live at home with my parents, two brothers and our dogs. I also have a sister, who lives now with her own family. I graduated from upper secondary school in the spring 2007 and now I'm trying to think what I would like to study.

My first experience with dogs was when my aunt's family got an apricot miniature poodle male in the year 1996. This was also my very first touch to the world of poodles :) After that my dear friend Elisa Ahokas (kennel LB Jolie) introduced me into dog show's when she got her first poodle in the year 1998. I remember how I used to watch all of those beautiful poodles, with lovely eyes and movements that demanded attention.. When Elisa got her second poodle, I really started to think that maybe we could have a dog (read: poodle) too ;) So, nowadays I have three gorgeous poodle males: apricot dwarf poodle Onni, apricot miniature poodle Finik and red dwarf poodle Ringo. I also was a third owner of an apricot dwarf poodle Bono but not anymore, though he is still part of my life. More information about these poodleboys you can find from their own pages. I competed in some junior handling-competitions when I was younger and during those years I got many new experiences and memories with different breeds. Now I'm too old to compete in junior handling, but I'm always ready to help in show rings when somebody needs some help in handling.

At this moment Onni is retired from his hobbies and he is just enjoying his life as a little Diva of our family ;) Finik is going to visit some show's in the year 2009 because he loves to travel with us and he really likes to show himself. Later he will leave the stage for our younger kids: Ringo and Bono. These kids are just starting show's and we'll see what future brings to them :)
